2018 Weather Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir

TASTING NOTES:
2018 Weather Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir has a vibrant ruby hue with translucent core. Wild strawberry and soft, spiced-rhubarb pie greet you in the glass, edged with ocean minerality and rose petal. Generous red fruits of cran-raspberry and plum have a touch of sweet thyme and tarragon on the palate with a barrel-toast, pie-crust finish. Bright and complex drink now or hold for up to 10 years.
VINTAGE NOTES:
The Sonoma County 2018 vintage is considered exceptional by Sonoma winegrowers. It had a cooler start, prolonged moderate temperatures and longer growing season, with harvest starting after Labor Day. A perfect fruit set by spring with larger grape clusters allowed for reduced fruit ripening on the vine and good yields of superior quality fruit. 2018 releases show fully-mature, sweet tannins, outstanding color and brightness, depth of fruit, and naturally beautifully balanced wines.
